Iuse x360ce to get my Xbox one controller to work just like a console. Google for the pc controller fix go AC1 and you can get a working profile for the game. I use a wired controller, not sure if it matters. That’s all I got. Hopefully it helps.

Hereis my original comment with the fix. I just got mine working. I initially removed a bunch of extraneous virtual HID's that I had installed (unified remote).
