It's asking for Ad blu. Ad blu is quite expensive compared with DEF. The manual says I must use Ad blu- but it would wouldn't it. If I call a stealership I'm sure they'll say I have to use Ad Blu- I expect that's all they sell. Can anyone tell me if they've used DEF & whether they've had any problems with it.
There seems to be a problem with the adblue system. It is telling me to top up and counting down the miles until it will not be possible to restart the engine. I have 200 miles remaining on countdown. Adblue tank is full. This same situation accured 2 months ago but the warning just reset itself through normal driving after about 15o miles.
I have filled the Adblue in the car but it didn't detect and autoreset the distance until start disabled. 13 L of Adblue have been put into the vehicle. Weather here is currently -30 deg C so not sure if the tank has froze, Adblue/DEF freezes around -11 C. Vehicle now has 20 km until start disabled and can't figure out how to reset the unit.
